This card was inspired by a scrap! Months ago, I tried to use Perfect Pearls on black cardstock just for a fun. I kept the scraps from that project with no particular plan in using them. In looking for a unique Thank You card idea I decided to try using the scrap for something.

I used the same stamp (Simon Says Stamp Ornate Background Stamp) as what I stamped on the black cardstock but this time I stamped it on white cardstock and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I then used the same shade of Perfect Pearls (Perfect Bronze) to dust over the white portions of the paper, and the embossed areas resisted the powder.

I gold-foiled my sentiment using Heidi Swapp Minc foil.
