Gorgeous Alcohol Ink Birthday Cards
This set of 4 birthday cards was a dream to make. Using Ranger Alcohol Ink and Alcohol Pearls, along with a bit of alcohol blending solution and 99% isopropyl alcohol, I used a technique that I saw Jennifer McGuire use, in which she applies ink to one piece of yupo paper and then presses another piece of yupo paper on top of that. You essentially end up with mirror image backgrounds.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the HBD designs, and used a small die cutter for the intricate happy birthday sentiment.
