October of 2021 was a momentous time for me. I had a medically recommended hysterectomy due to several large fibroid tumors as well as endometriosis. This surgery marked the welcome end to a long infertility journey. Although the surgery and recovery were physically tough, I am relieved that I can now move on with my life.

So, a cheeky little farewell to my uterus was in order! This was the thank-you card I made for my surgeon. This card also sparked several custom orders from others who recently had their own hysterectomies!

The floral uterus print and cut came from Etsy, and the foiled banner and sentiment were my own designs. The foil is Minc Gold Stars. I adhered all the elements to a piece of Navy cardstock from Recollections.
